La Rural “Palermo” 2020 Show – postponed until October

The animales crowned on Palermo become legends!

It has just been announced that the famous La Rural Palermo agricultural show, which has been taking place in the center of Buenos Aires in Argentina for 134 years, will be postponed from the traditional date around the last two weeks of July to the first half of October in 2020.
It will now take place from 7 to 18 October 2020 but the program will be the same as always with the cattle breeds finals in the last week.

As always, the last week of the show kicks off with the following finale (among many, many others):
Monday: Braford, Wagyu and Santa Gertrudis
Tuesday: Brangus and Shorthorn
Wednesday: Brahman, Hereford and Angus
Thursday: Hereford – cows and bulls, Angus cows
Friday: Limousin and the Angus bulls

There are also some of the most beautiful horses, sheep, pigs and poultry that Argentina has to offer.

Last year, almost 1.3 million people visited the show with its 4,000 animals and 400 stalls in almost two weeks.

It is the largest livestock show in the southern hemisphere and there are also static displays of agricultural machinery and everything that makes a show a show. This is the perfect opportunity to see what Argentina’s agricultural sector has to offer the world and make sure you have the best genetics and agricultural technology in store!
